About
Welcome to Brazilian Place, a culinary gem nestled in Silver Spring, Maryland, at 2412 University Blvd W. As a food reviewer with Foodjoyy, I am excited to share the vibrant flavors and delightful offerings of this charming eatery.
Brazilian Place is more than just a restaurant; it is a slice of Brazil that welcomes you with open arms. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by a warm ambiance that reflects the vibrant culture of Brazil. The welcoming staff contributes to the inviting atmosphere, making every visit feel like a warm family gathering.
The menu is a feast for the senses, boasting an array of savory snacks and hearty dishes. A must-try is the Pastel, a thin crispy dough filled with your choice of beef, cheese, or chicken with catupiry. Each bite is a delightful crunch followed by a satisfying burst of flavor for only $4.99. Another highlight is the Pão De Queijo, small baked cheese bread that's irresistibly chewy and perfect for snacking at just $2.00 for three units. For those seeking something hearty, the Risoles and Kibe offer delicious, deep-fried goodness filled with beef that transports your taste buds straight to Brazil.
If you have a sweet tooth, Brazilian Place does not disappoint. Their 12” desserts pizzas, like the Nutella & Strawberry or the traditional Romeu & Julieta, provide an indulgent way to end your meal, each available for $22.00. It's a pizza experience reimagined, where Brazilian flavors meet the classic dessert format.
For those who prefer variety, the all-you-can-eat buffet is a treasure trove of traditional Brazilian dishes. It's not just about quantity; the quality shines through with fresh, tender meats and flavorful sides like rice and salads. Customers appreciate the value this buffet offers, allowing them to explore a range of authentic flavors without breaking the bank.
Reviews from happy patrons echo the sentiment that Brazilian Place is a hidden gem. One customer mentions, "Food was very good, people are very nice and polite here... 100% recommended." Another praises the affordability and family-friendly environment, stating, "Loved great pizza different from USA pizza, loved the pastel and buffet." Such feedback highlights the unique juxtaposition of casual dining with exceptional culinary artistry.
With options for takeout and even frozen Brazilian pizzas, there’s no excuse not to indulge in the luscious flavors of Brazil. And don’t forget to pair your meal with the Brazilian lemonade—a refreshing drink made from whole limes that is both tangy and rich in vitamin C!
My experience at Brazilian Place was truly memorable. The combination of authentic flavors, friendly service, and the vibrant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone craving Brazilian cuisine. Whether you're sitting down for a casual meal or opting for the buffet, Brazilian Place guarantees a delightful experience that transports you to the heart of Brazil.
“ Food was very good people are very nice and polite here everything is clean wonderful place 100% recommended ”
“ Very inconspicuous storefront that can make it easy to pass this place and never take notice despite it being a local gem. When I finally did notice and got curious I was delighted to find a beautiful interior with both a sit down resturant and a casual buffet dining area. There are very little bargains left today, but for a standard lunch price you can AYCE over half a dozen traditional Brazilian dishes as well as rice, salads and desserts. It appears to be family owned and operated. This is a hidden gem of the Wheaton area that more people should learn about. ”
“ A littlepiece of Brazil in Wheaton. Delicious food that taste like home. Options of all you can eat buffet with or without Brazilian barbecue ( churrasco) , or , if you are not too hungry, there is the option of paying by weight of what you 'll eat. You also have the option to take out prepared meals or the delicious frozen Brazilian pizza ( if you never tried frango com Catupiry or chicken with Brazilian soft cheese, you don't know what you are missing. Another delicious try is the Brazilian lemonade : madr with whole limes, including peel- not sweet and rich in vitamin C! Staff is friendly and food is delicious! A must try! ”

“ Brazilian Place is a great spot if you’re craving Brazilian food. They offer a buffet with a fixed price, and you can eat as much as you want, which is perfect if you’re really hungry or want to try a bit of everything. The food is tasty and has that homemade flavor, not fancy, but definitely satisfying. You’ll find traditional Brazilian dishes that are hard to get elsewhere, and everything is well-prepared. The staff is also very kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It’s a casual place, good for a relaxed meal. Definitely worth a visit if you want good Brazilian food without spending too much. ”
